Jonathan Hodgson is een van de boeiendste figuren binnen de Britse animatiesector. De man studeerde aan de Royal College of Art in Londen en werd bekend met enkele zeer gevarieerde animatiefilms. Voor The Man with the Beautiful Eyes (1999) kreeg hij zelfs een BAFTA-award. Hodgsons films focussen op de creatieve mogelijkheden van animatie om complexe ideeën visueel te communiceren.

In 1996 richtte Hodgson het productiehuis Sherbet op en sinds 2008 is hij ook hoofd van de animatieopleiding aan de Universiteit van Middlesex. Zijn recentste werken zijn geanimeerde documentaires voor onder andere Amnesty International.

Op 5 maart komt hij zijn animatiefilms persoonlijk voorstellen.
