Jay and Silent Rob Strike Back2001

Snootchie boochies! Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back! This time round, you can catch them in an ultra-special, stoney-baloney, platonically homoerotic and oh-so-meta and ironic big-screen spectacle. Following in the footsteps of filmmakers such as Jean-Luc Godard, Federico Fellini and Ingmar Bergman, director and actor Kevin Smith delivers a meta-licious film about filmmaking itself.

Together with his right-hand man Jason Mewes, Smith slips back into the roles of the iconic duo Jay and Silent Bob from Clerks (1994), this time in a biblical battle to snatch their image rights from the clutches of Hollywood. So roll that joint, leave your film theory at the door for a moment, and get ready for a road trip to Hollywood where no fourth wall, film cliché or celebrity cameo is safe. Snoogans!

This screening will be introduced by filmmaker Zayd Hamzane.
